Our Mission
To provide a pathway to freedom
for vulnerable women who are victims
of sex trafficking and addiction.
Our Vision
To re-build their self respect and self worth,
to renew their faith in human kindness,
and to restore their desire for a life of victory.
Women of Alabaster came into existence
when Scarlet Hudson, founder and director of Women of Alabaster,
volunteered to go out with her church to serve victims of sex trafficking.
That evening, Scarlet found herself hiding behind a hotel with a pistol whipped victim of sex trafficking. She did not know that this encounter would change the course of many lives, her own and those in need of help. God soon revealed to Scarlet that she was to leave her prestigious career and care for the vulnerable and victimized on the streets.
Women of Alabaster, Inc. was launched in 2012. We are a 501-C3 faith-based organization. We reach for those whose vulnerabilities make them easy prey for the sex trafficking industry. We care for those who have already experienced the horror and pain of sexual trafficking and addiction. We are a presence in forgotten communities and a voice for those that society so easily discards.
